OUR SHELTER IS CURRENTLY OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - see details here. All animal intakes are scheduled ahead of time by our intake committee. Please click here for our intake policies.  Any animals abandoned at our facility will be taken to Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management.

How do I become a volunteer at your shelter?

We need volunteers! Please click here for information on volunteering. You must be 13 years or older to volunteer without a parent. (We are unable to provide community service hours for probation or court-ordered purposes.)

There’s a stray/dead animal in my neighborhood. Who do I contact?

My pet is very ill/old and I cannot afford to euthanize it. Where can I go?
