Hi! My name is Rachel.  I’m a beautiful long-haired calico! 

I lived at the shelter for a while but had to go to a foster home for a few weeks so my spay incision could be looked after because I was a little ornery and wouldn’t leave the stitches alone.  Now I’m finally healed up and ready to begin my search for a forever home! 

I love to be held and drape myself across the arms that are holding me.  All the attention just makes me melt into those loving arms! 

At my foster home, I have had the chance to play with a kitten that was smaller than me.  I was so, so happy to have a friend to run and play with but I played too rough with her. 

I think I’d probably like having a kitty friend to play with at my forever home, but the kitty needs to be larger than me since I’m not very good about being careful.  I also might be a bit too much for an elderly cat to handle. 

There is a small dog and a large dog at my foster home (very calm, gentle senior dogs) and I don’t mind being around them. 

There is a 4 year old kid and a 6 year old kid at my foster home and I enjoy it when they play with my toys with me but it is important for the adults to closely supervise us playing. 

I can’t wait to find my forever home so I can get all the love and attention that I crave!
